Building Concrete Solutions From The Ground Up

Since 1998, I’ve been working with Microsoft technologies to improve the design and functionality of websites. From start-ups to large corporations, I’ve had the opportunity to help businesses reach concrete and feasible goals and build solutions on a wide-range of diverse projects. I’m a self-taught programmer, have worked for agencies from Los Angeles to Denver and Portland, and now work as a freelance contractor in Portland, Oregon. I’m currently specializing in C# .NET 3.5, utilizing MVC, WPF and WCF foundations from Microsoft, but can offer a great deal more. And while I could give you the specific details of my past employment, (they’re readily available), I’d rather share with you the knowledge I’ve gained along the way, how my skill set has changed with evolving technologies and how it benefits the clients I partner with today.

Ten years ago, I started by working for a small company where I was doing ASP with HTML and Javascript. As a quick learner eager for a new challenge, I moved on to help develop an online version of Microsoft office (long before Google docs and other databases, if you can believe that). From there my programming skills expanded as I began learning VB component programming and SQL database scripting. Later, after landing in Portland, I learned VB.NET programming from Microsoft, then moved to C# and my experience eventually led me to architecture and planning. Today, I combine all of these skills and work on projects large and small, with businesses and individuals to help them create custom websites, implement software solutions or make existing programs run that much better.
